Chocolate Against Cancer Festival

In 2020 Andrew is Organising the very First “Chocolate Against Cancer” Festival. This was born out of Andrew losing family members and friends to this terrible disease.

Andrew said “I wanted to do something to help my cousin who has organised a music festival at her pub. Over the last 5 years the event has raised over £70,000 pounds. Some of this Money has gone towards the building of the Macmillan Sir Robert Ogden Cancer Centre at Northallerton in North Yorkshire. Following the death of my Uncle last year and my own father, we want to raise money to fund an end of life care suite at the hospital. The Cowtonbury music festival goes on but I want to bring together the finest chocolatiers, bakers, pastry Chefs, Chocolate makers and artisans together under one roof for a weekend of indulgence and chocolate luxury."

There will be a market where visitors can buy the best Chocolates, Macarons, pastries and chocolate gifts, workshops and activities for adults and children alike, tasting sessions, talks and demonstrations by the celebrity chefs and chocolate experts from all over the UK and Europe. There will also be an auction and a raffle with fabulous prizes which will take place at a gala dinner to be held on the Saturday evening of the festival, this event in itself promises to be a wonderful and unique opportunity not to be missed.
